Description

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Putative macrophage-stimulating protein MSTP9 (MST1P9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is reactive with human samples.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.21ng/mL. Reported precision is given as an Intra CV of 6.8% and an Inter CV of 9.6%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions, and recovery averages 98% in serum (range 92-104%) and 100% in plasma (range 94-106%). The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human Putative macrophage-stimulating protein MSTP9.

MSTP9/MST1P9 is a secreted protein associated with macrophage function and immune response regulation, and the kit is intended for research use only. The target is noted to probably lack proteolytic activity, since the characteristic serine protease catalytic sites are not conserved. Listed synonyms for the target include Brain rescue factor 1, Hepatocyte growth factor-like protein homolog, BRF-1, D1F15S1A and MSTP9.
