PTP4A1, also called PRL-1 (Phosphatase of Regenerating Liver-1), belongs to a small family of dual-specificity protein tyrosine phosphatases linked to cell growth control, metastatic behavior, and tumor angiogenesis. Aberrant PTP4A1 expression has been documented in colorectal, breast, hepatic, and gastric malignancies, making it a marker of interest in oncology research. This Assay Genie ELISA provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring human PTP4A1/PRL1 levels in experimental specimens derived from cell culture models, xenograft studies, and translational sample collections.

The workflow uses paired antibodies and a reference standard to capture target protein, with an absorbance-based enzymatic readout on a standard microplate.
