Spike-and-recovery performance across matrices gave averages of 95% for serum (n=5, range 91-102), 93% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 85-104) and 99% for UFH plasma (n=5, range 90-105). Serial-dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 for serum, EDTA plasma and UFH plasma. Reported precision is Intra-Assay CV<8% and Inter-Assay CV<10%. The target is Prostaglandin G/H synthase 2 (UniProt P35354; NCBI Gene ID 5743), the inducible isozyme involved in prostaglandin biosynthesis and inflammation.
