The PTGR1 (Prostaglandin Reductase 1) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human PTGR1 protein in research samples. PTGR1, also known as leukotriene B4 12-hydroxydehydrogenase or 15-oxoprostaglandin 13-reductase, is an NADPH-dependent cytosolic oxidoreductase that participates in eicosanoid inactivation, prostaglandin catabolism, and cellular redox balance. The enzyme reduces 15-keto-PGE2 and related alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl substrates, contributing to inflammatory resolution and the metabolism of xenobiotics bearing enone motifs.

This 96 Assays configuration is engineered for laboratory workflows measuring PTGR1 concentrations in human serum or plasma-derived clinical research specimens. The colorimetric readout is captured on a standard microplate reader.
