PSMD14, also called Rpn11 or POH1, is the JAMM-domain metalloprotease subunit of the 19S proteasome lid that cleaves polyubiquitin chains from substrates as they enter the 26S proteasome, making its expression level a meaningful readout for ubiquitin-proteasome system research. This Assay Genie kit provides an immunoassay configured for human PSMD14 quantification, supporting studies of proteasome assembly dynamics, deubiquitinating enzyme activity, proteasome inhibitor response, and disease models where proteasomal degradation is altered, including cancer biology and neurodegeneration. The kit is supplied with reagents sufficient for 96 determinations using a colorimetric readout, and is intended for research use only.
