About PSMB6

PSMB6 encodes the proteasome 20S subunit beta 6, a catalytic core component of the constitutive proteasome and immunoproteasome. The protein contributes chymotrypsin-like activity, supports ubiquitin-dependent protein turnover, and participates in generating peptide ligands presented on MHC class I molecules. Altered PSMB6 expression has been reported in studies of immune regulation, oncology cell lines, and cellular responses to proteasome inhibition.

About the Assay
