The Assay Genie Human PSMA8 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of proteasome subunit alpha type-8 (PSMA8) in human samples, using antibodies raised against the human PSMA8 sequence for species-specific measurement of the human target. PSMA8 is a tissue-restricted component of the 20S proteasome that is highly expressed in testicular germ cells, where it supports spermatogenesis and ubiquitin-dependent protein turnover during meiosis and sperm development.

This paired-antibody capture microplate kit is supplied with pre-coated strip wells, wash buffer, standards, and detection reagents for in vitro research applications. Researchers in reproductive biology, andrology, and proteasome pathway studies can apply the kit to evaluate PSMA8 expression in blood-derived specimens, supporting investigations into male infertility, germ cell maturation, and proteasome-related disorders.
