Human PSIP1/PC4 and SFRS1-interacting protein ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human PSIP1 (PC4 and SFRS1-interacting protein) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody assay is read colorimetrically, with absorbance measured at 450 nm following addition of stop solution.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity is reported for serum at 97–100%, 86–93% and 85–96% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5); EDTA plasma at 85–99%, 83–101% and 84–99% (n = 5); and heparin plasma at 81–98%, 91–99% and 85–98% (n = 5). Recovery is reported as 85–104% (average 95%) for serum, 90–105% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 86–105% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. Kit reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

The protocol begins with reagent equilibration and loading of standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, followed by a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody binding step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, 10–20 minutes of TMB substrate development in the dark, and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added. PSIP1 functions as a transcriptional coactivator involved in gene regulation and DNA repair, with research applications in immunology.
