PSG11 is a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily and CEA family, produced mainly by placental syncytiotrophoblasts during pregnancy. It contributes to fetal development and maternal-fetal immune tolerance, and altered PSG11 levels have been linked to complications such as pre-eclampsia and fetal growth restriction, making it a useful biomarker for studying reproductive health and pregnancy outcomes.
