Human PSEN2/Presenilin-2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Presenilin-2 (PSEN2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is positioned for studies of neuronal function and neurodegenerative disease, including Alzheimer's disease, where PSEN2 is implicated as a biomarker of interest.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Dilutional linearity (1:2 to 1:8) was 89–104% for serum, 84–101% for EDTA plasma, and 89–98% for heparin plasma. Recovery across the same matrices was 85–105% (average 96%) for serum, 85–105% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
