Human PRSS33 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of PRSS33 levels in human biological samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. PRSS33, also known as Serine protease 33 or Serine protease EOS (UniProt Q8NF86), is a protease enzyme implicated in biological functions such as digestion, immune response, and tissue remodeling, with abnormal levels linked to inflammation, cancer, and autoimmune disorders. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

Validated linearity data show serum recovery between 86–101% at 1:2, 85–101% at 1:4, and 81–97% at 1:8; EDTA plasma between 91–105%, 87–99%, and 83–98%; and heparin plasma between 86–98%, 87–105%, and 91–99%. Average spike recovery is reported as 98% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma, with ranges of 87–105%, 95–105%, and 85–102% respectively. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

All reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with the microplate and lyophilized standard additionally suitable for 12 months at -20°C. The kit includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
