Human PROZ/Protein Z ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit (double antibody) developed for the quantitative measurement of Protein Z (PROZ, also known as Vitamin K-dependent protein Z) in human samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity for EDTA plasma (n=5) spans 88-101% at 1:2, 90-101% at 1:4, and 80-97% at 1:8; for heparin plasma (n=5) it spans 89-105% at 1:2, 82-99% at 1:4, and 85-100% at 1:8. Recovery in EDTA plasma (n=5) is 86-103% with an average of 96%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) it is 89-105% with an average of 96%. The protocol comprises a 37°C antigen-binding incubation of 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
