Human Proton myo-inositol cotransporter (SLC2A13) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Proton myo-inositol cotransporter (SLC2A13). The assay is human-reactive and detects natural and recombinant forms of the protein. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and the kit is intended for research use only in neuroscience applications.

The assay has a detection range of 0.47–30 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.21 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay CV of 3.6% and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity has been characterised at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum ranging 87–103%, EDTA plasma 83–119% and heparin plasma 90–121%. Recovery averages 94% (range 88–100%) for serum and 96% (range 90–102%) for plasma. The target is an integral multi-pass membrane protein, also referred to as H(+)-myo-inositol symporter or solute carrier family 2 member 13, that functions as an H(+)-myo-inositol cotransporter and can also transport related stereoisomers.
