Human Proton-associated sugar transporter A (SLC45A1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human SLC45A1 (Proton-associated sugar transporter A), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables accurate detection in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human SLC45A1, with a quoted detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as 4.8% CV and inter-assay precision as 9.4% CV.

SLC45A1 is a multi-pass membrane protein that mediates glucose uptake along the pH gradient. Dysregulation of the transporter has been linked in the literature to metabolic disorders, diabetes and obesity, making the assay a useful tool for research into sugar transport mechanisms and metabolic health. The kit is for research use only.

Based on a Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric readout and validated for human samples, the assay has been characterised for linearity across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges documented for serum and plasma.
