Human Proteinase-activated receptor 1 (F2R) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of Proteinase-activated receptor 1 (F2R) in human samples. It is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.1%. Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 (N=5) with ranges of 96–106%, 109–120%, 104–114%, and 99–109% in serum; 99–109%, 91–100%, 102–114%, and 103–113% in EDTA plasma; and 87–98%, 100–112%, 92–101%, and 82–91% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averaged 86% (range 80–92%) in serum and 88% (range 82–94%) in plasma. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant human Proteinase-activated receptor 1. The target, also referred to as Coagulation factor II receptor, Thrombin receptor, PAR-1, CF2R, PAR1, and TR (UniProt P25116), is a high-affinity G-protein coupled receptor for activated thrombin that stimulates phosphoinositide hydrolysis and may play a role in platelet activation and vascular development.
