Human Protein Z Dependent Protease Inhibitor (ZPI) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human ZPI ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay for measuring Protein Z-Dependent Protease Inhibitor (SERPINA10) in human plasma. ZPI is a serpin that, together with its cofactor protein Z, inactivates factor Xa and helps regulate the blood coagulation cascade. Plasma concentrations of this inhibitor have been investigated in research on venous thromboembolism, liver disease, recurrent pregnancy loss, and ischemic stroke, where altered ZPI levels have been reported as candidate biomarkers.

The kit is configured as 96 assays per box, supplied with the reagents needed to establish a standard curve and measure plasma specimens in duplicate. Validated sample type is plasma, reactivity is human, and the kit is intended for research use only, not for clinical diagnostic procedures. The procedure runs on a microplate, with absorbance read on a standard plate reader, and unknown values are interpolated from the generated standard curve. Capture antibodies specific for human ZPI are pre-coated on the plate, and the workflow follows standard ELISA incubation and wash steps suitable for batch processing of plasma samples.
