Human Protein Wnt-6 (WNT6) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for measuring human Protein Wnt-6 (WNT6) levels in samples using a colorimetric detection method. The assay is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Protein Wnt-6.

Key performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.169ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.2%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.5%. Linearity testing (N=5 per sample type) showed: serum 101-113% at 1:2 down to 96-105% at 1:16; EDTA plasma 88-97% to 104-114% across the same dilutions; Heparin plasma 106-116% to 86-96%. Recovery averaged 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma.

WNT6 is a member of the WNT gene family of secreted signaling proteins and acts as a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors, with probable roles in development and short-range cell signaling. Dysregulation has been linked to cancer, making the protein a relevant biomarker in oncology research; it interacts with PORCN and functions in the canonical Wnt receptor signaling pathway.
