Human Protein Wnt-5b (WNT5B) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Protein Wnt-5b (WNT5B) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric detection method and is designated for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.45 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human Protein Wnt-5b. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery averaged 103% (range 97–109%) for serum and 105% (range 99–111%) for plasma.

WNT5B is a secreted signalling protein of the Wnt family that acts as a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors and interacts with PORCN. It is implicated in cell adhesion, migration, tissue development, and in conditions including cancer, developmental disorders and inflammatory disease, with research applications noted in the cancer field. The associated UniProt entry is Q9H1J7 and the protein has a molecular weight of 40,323 Da.
