Human Protein Wnt-2 (WNT2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA designed for quantitative detection of human Protein Wnt-2 (WNT2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Protein Wnt-2 and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.6%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Linearity was assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. In serum (N=5) the ranges were 105-118%, 108-117%, 90-102%, and 110-120% respectively; in EDTA plasma (N=5) 84-97%, 109-119%, 108-118%, and 104-113%; and in heparin plasma (N=5) 99-109%, 110-119%, 104-115%, and 107-116%. Recovery averaged 88% in serum (range 82-94%) and 90% in plasma (range 84-96%).

Wnt-2 (synonyms: Int-1-like protein 1, Int-1-related protein, IRP, INT1L1) is a secreted signaling protein located in the extracellular space and extracellular matrix, with UniProt accession P09544. It functions as a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors and is described as a probable developmental protein that may signal over only a few cell diameters. The kit is categorized for cancer research applications.
