Human Protein Wnt-10a (WNT10A) ELISA Kit

The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Protein Wnt-10a and has a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/mL.

Performance characteristics include an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Dilutional linearity in serum (n=5) is reported as 103-115%, 106-115%, 107-117%, and 86-95% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) as 82-94%, 83-92%, 93-103%, and 112-122%; and heparin plasma (n=5) as 98-109%, 84-94%, 94-103%, and 96-105%. Spike-and-recovery averages 103% (range 97-109%) in serum and 105% (range 99-111%) in plasma.

WNT10A is a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors and a probable developmental protein with roles in CNS development and the Wnt signaling pathway, which regulates cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue development. Defects in WNT10A are associated with ectodermal dysplasia anhidrotic (EDA), odonto-onycho-dermal dysplasia (OODD), and Schopf-Schulz-Passarge syndrome (SSPS). The protein is secreted into the extracellular space and extracellular matrix (UniProt Q9GZT5), with applications in cancer research. For research use only.
