Performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 7.8pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 3.9% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Linearity was validated for serum (94-124%), EDTA plasma (90-112%) and heparin plasma (80-121%) across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 (N=5). Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Protein S100-B.
