Human Protein S100-A4 (S100A4) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of human Protein S100-A4 (S100A4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. S100A4 is a calcium-binding protein implicated in cell migration, invasion and metastasis, and accurate quantification supports research into tumour development, cancer progression and potential therapeutic targets.

The kit demonstrates a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 3.9 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.9% and inter-assay CV is 9.2%. Linearity in serum (N=5) is reported as 86–95% at 1:2, 101–111% at 1:4, 104–114% at 1:8 and 91–101% at 1:16, with EDTA plasma showing 95–95%, 109–117%, 80–90% and 112–120% across the same dilutions, and heparin plasma showing 101–110%, 100–110%, 86–96% and 81–91%. Recovery averages 100% for serum (range 94–106%) and 102% for plasma (range 96–108%).

The assay is specific to natural and recombinant human Protein S100-A4 and is reactive with human samples. It is intended for research use only within the Epigenetics research area, and exact storage conditions for individual kit components are provided with the product.
