Human Protein S100-A11 (S100A11) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Protein S100-A11 (S100A11) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method.

The kit detects natural and recombinant human Protein S100-A11, with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.2% and inter-assay CV is 6.9%. Linearity has been validated in serum (108-118% at 1:2, 84-94% at 1:4, 97-110% at 1:8, 93-102% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (102-110%, 99-109%, 96-106%, 91-103%), and heparin plasma (100-110%, 93-105%, 103-115%, 82-91%). Recovery averages 102% for serum (range 96-108%) and 104% for plasma (range 98-110%).

Protein S100-A11, also known by synonyms including Calgizzarin, S100C, MLN70, Protein S100-C, and S100 calcium-binding protein A11, is a calcium-binding regulatory protein of the S-100 family. It facilitates the differentiation and cornification of keratinocytes, exists as a disulfide-linked homodimer, and is localised to the cytoplasm and nucleus.
