Human Protein S100-A10 (S100A10) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate quantification of human Protein S100-A10 (S100A10) levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, is reactive with human samples, and has specificity for natural and recombinant human Protein S100-A10.

Verified performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.8%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity ranged from 95-117% in serum, 91-117% in EDTA plasma, and 82-118% in heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. Recovery averaged 94% (range 88-100%) in serum and 96% (range 90-102%) in plasma.

According to UniProt (P60903), S100A10 is a calcium-binding protein of 11kDa encoded on chromosome 1q21. It may function as a regulator of protein phosphorylation in that the ANXA2 monomer is the preferred in vitro target of tyrosine-specific kinase, through the induction of ANXA2/p36 dimerization. The protein forms a heterotetramer of two S100A10/p11 light chains and two ANXA2/p36 heavy chains, and is associated with biological processes including positive regulation of focal adhesion formation, positive regulation of stress fiber formation, protein heterotetramerization, lipid raft formation, and membrane budding.
