Human Protein Kinase C/PKC ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit is intended for the quantitative detection of human Protein Kinase C (PKC) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported linearity (n=5) for serum is 83-98% at 1:2, 84-100% at 1:4, and 86-100% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma, 86-97%, 85-100%, and 87-101%; for heparin plasma, 85-97%, 80-95%, and 87-105%. Spike-and-recovery data (n=5) show serum recovery of 85-99% (average 90%), EDTA plasma 85-105% (average 97%), and heparin plasma 85-97% (average 97%). Unopened components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay follows a six-step workflow: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes; TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes; and stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
