Human Protein kinase C epsilon type (PRKCE) ELISA Kit

PRKCE is a calcium-independent, phospholipid- and diacylglycerol (DAG)-dependent serine/threonine-protein kinase that plays essential roles in the regulation of multiple cellular processes linked to cytoskeletal proteins, including cell adhesion, motility, migration and the cell cycle, and is involved in immune response, cancer cell invasion and regulation of apoptosis. The kit is reactive with human samples and is suited to cancer research applications.

The assay uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human Protein kinase C epsilon type, with synonyms nPKC-epsilon and PKCE.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.98ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. In serum samples, average recovery is 100% with a range of 94-106%; in plasma samples, average recovery is 102% with a range of 96-108%. The kit is for research use only.
