Human Protein FAM3A (FAM3A) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA kit intended for the measurement of human Protein FAM3A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The target, also known as Family with sequence similarity 3 member A or Cytokine-like protein 2-19, is a secreted cytokine-like protein of which two human isoforms are produced by alternative splicing. The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human Protein FAM3A.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision as 9.2% CV. Linearity has been assessed across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery has been measured in serum (average 96%, range 90-102%) and plasma (average 98%, range 92-104%).
