Human Protein FAM132B (FAM132B) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Erythroferrone, also known as FAM132B, Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 15, Myonectin, C1QTNF15 and CTRP15. The kit is intended for research use only.

It is used to measure FAM132B in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The reported detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.075 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.8% and inter-assay CV is 6.4%. Linearity in serum (N=5) spans 104–114% (1:2), 90–100% (1:4), 107–119% (1:8) and 82–93% (1:16); in EDTA plasma (N=5) 108–119%, 101–113%, 100–110% and 108–119%; in heparin plasma (N=5) 81–91%, 120–120%, 93–103% and 96–108%. Mean recovery is 98% (range 92–104) for serum and 100% (range 94–106) for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Erythroferrone. The associated UniProt accession is Q4G0M1 (NCBI Gene ID 151176), with a reported molecular weight of 37,279 Da, chromosomal location 2q37.3, subcellular localisation as a secreted protein involved in cellular iron ion homeostasis with hormone activity.
