Human Protein cereblon (CRBN) ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie as a sandwich ELISA with colorimetric detection, this kit is designed for the precise measurement of Human Protein cereblon (CRBN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human Protein cereblon, also listed under the synonym AD-006, with UniProt accession Q96SW2.

The assay provides a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.2ng/ml. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Mean recovery is 89% (range 83-95%) in serum and 91% (range 85-97%) in plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was demonstrated in serum (101-111%, 103-112%, 91-101%, 110-120%), EDTA plasma (96-105%, 94-103%, 105-115%, 81-91%) and heparin plasma (91-100%, 97-110%, 107-116%, 94-103%).

CRBN acts as the substrate recognition component of a DCX (DDB1-CUL4-X-box) E3 protein ligase complex that mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins such as MEIS2, and is required for normal limb outgrowth and expression of the fibroblast growth factor FGF8.
