Human Proteasome subunit beta type-9 (PSMB9) ELISA Kit

The assay uses an ELISA detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human PSMB9.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.067ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 3.2% and an inter-assay CV of 6.4%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5). Recovery averages 96% in serum (range 90-102%) and 98% in plasma (range 92-104%).

PSMB9 (UniProt P28065) is a beta-type subunit of the 20S proteasome core and a component of the immunoproteasome, where it displaces the equivalent housekeeping subunit PSMB6. It participates in antigen processing to generate class I binding peptides, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.
