Human Prostasin/Prss8 ELISA Kit

Designed for quantitative detection in human samples, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie employs a double-antibody method to measure Prostasin (PRSS8) levels. Prostasin is a key enzyme involved in cellular processes such as cell adhesion, proliferation, and invasion, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a valuable target for biomarker and therapeutic research.

The kit shows a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL with a measurable range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months.

The assay workflow includes equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding a biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 60-minute incubation, binding HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, developing color with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
