Human Prostaglandin D2 Synthase, Brain (PGD2S) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie ELISA kit quantitatively measures prostaglandin D2 synthase, brain-type (PTGDS), also called beta-trace protein or lipocalin-type PGD synthase, a lipocalin-family enzyme produced primarily by leptomeningeal cells in the central nervous system. The kit is used in research on blood-brain barrier integrity, CSF leakage diagnostics, mast-cell-driven allergic inflammation, eosinophilic asthma, and the sleep-wake regulation pathway, with the antibody pair specifically recognising the brain-type isozyme and showing no significant cross-reactivity with the hematopoietic PGD synthase (HPGDS) isozyme. Each pack supplies a pre-coated microplate, capture antibody, biotinylated detection reagent, lyophilized recombinant standards, and TMB substrate sufficient for the full plate run.
