Human Prostaglandin D2 receptor (PTGDR) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Prostaglandin D2 receptor (PTGDR), also referred to as the prostanoid DP receptor or PGD receptor. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and uses a colorimetric detection method. It is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.012 ng/ml. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 6.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Mean recovery is 96% (range 90–102%) in serum and 98% (range 92–104%) in plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human PTGDR (UniProt Q13258), a G-protein coupled multi-pass membrane receptor for prostaglandin D2 that signals primarily through G(s) proteins to stimulate adenylate cyclase and elevate intracellular cAMP.
