Human Prosaposin/PSAP ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Prosaposin (PSAP) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-based, double-antibody immunoassay developed for the precise measurement of prosaposin levels in human research samples. The kit is designed to deliver high sensitivity and specificity for studies of this biomarker, which is involved in lysosomal degradation and lipid metabolism and is relevant to conditions such as lysosomal storage disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, and uses a colorimetric detection method.

The protocol follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow: equilibrate reagents and the pre-coated plate, incubate standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes for antigen binding, add biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 60-minute incubation, add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, develop color with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, then stop the reaction and read absorbance at 450 nm.
