Human Prominin-1 (PROM1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Prominin-1 (PROM1), also known by the synonyms Antigen AC133, Prominin-like protein 1, CD133, MSTP061, and PROML1. The kit is intended for research use only.

It reacts with human samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The detection method is colorimetric, and the kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Prominin-1.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 7.5%. Linearity in serum (N=5) is 113-123%, 88-99%, 102-114%, 113-123% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16 dilutions; EDTA plasma (N=5) shows 99-109%, 110-120%, 93-103%, 109-119%; heparin plasma (N=5) shows 101-110%, 106-118%, 88-100%, 104-114%. Recovery averages 96% (range 90-102%) for serum and 98% (range 92-104%) for plasma.
