Human Proline Rich Protein 4, Lacrimal (PRR4) ELISA Kit

PRR4 (Proline Rich Protein 4, Lacrimal) is a secreted glycoprotein abundantly expressed in human lacrimal gland epithelium and released into tear fluid, where it has been investigated as a candidate biomarker for Sjögren's syndrome, dry eye disease, and autoimmune dacryoadenitis. This Assay Genie kit is intended for research use only and provides all components needed to measure PRR4 in tissue homogenates and cell lysates on a microplate. The assay employs a human-specific capture antibody, with no significant cross-reactivity reported for rat or mouse PRR4 orthologs. Standards should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20°C, with limited freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity; the remaining kit components remain stable when refrigerated until first use.
