Human Proline-rich acidic protein 1 (PRAP1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Proline-rich acidic protein 1 (PRAP1). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human PRAP1.

The kit has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 33pg/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 5.7% and inter-assay CV is 9.6%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 86-96% at 1:2 dilution to 110-120% at 1:16; EDTA plasma (N=5) ranges from 99-111% to 87-96%; heparin plasma (N=5) ranges from 111-119% to 95-107%. Recovery in serum averages 103% (range 97-109%) and in plasma averages 105% (range 99-111%). PRAP1 is a secreted protein (UniProt Q96NZ9) that may play an important role in maintaining normal growth homeostasis in epithelial cells.
