Human Proliferation-associated protein 2G4 (PA2G4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Proliferation-associated protein 2G4 (PA2G4), a protein involved in cell proliferation, growth regulation, ribosome assembly and rRNA processing whose dysregulation has been linked to cancer. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids and recognises natural and recombinant human PA2G4, also known as EBP1, Cell cycle protein p38-2G4 homolog, ErbB3-binding protein 1 and hG4-1 (UniProt Q9UQ80).

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.067 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 10.4%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) is reported as 100–113%, 83–92%, 82–94% and 100–109% for serum; 87–97%, 86–96%, 91–103% and 101–110% for EDTA plasma; and 89–99%, 104–116%, 105–115% and 81–93% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages 106% for serum (range 100–112%) and 108% for plasma (range 102–114%).
