The Human PROKR1 (Prokineticin Receptor 1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of the prokineticin receptor 1 in human samples. PROKR1 is a G protein-coupled receptor (also known as GPR73a) that binds prokineticin 1 (PROK1, also termed EG-VEGF) and prokineticin 2 (PROK2). Receptor activation has been implicated in endocrine gland angiogenesis, gastrointestinal smooth muscle contraction, circadian rhythm regulation, and inflammatory cell signalling.

PROKR1 expression has been documented across the central nervous system, ovary, testis, adrenal gland, and intestinal tissues, making this kit a useful tool for reproductive biology, neurobiology, and cancer angiogenesis research. For research use only.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, standards, and assay diluent. A typical sample volume of 100 uL is loaded per well, and absorbance is read on a standard microplate reader. Standard curves are generated from a serial dilution of the reconstituted PROKR1 reference standard, and concentrations in unknown samples are interpolated from the resulting curve.
