Human Prokineticin Receptor 2/PKR2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double-antibody immunoassay from Assay Genie for the detection of human prokineticin receptor 2 (PKR2) levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm immediately after addition of stop solution.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5 per matrix): serum 95–104% / 85–97% / 81–94%, EDTA plasma 85–104% / 87–101% / 82–97%, and heparin plasma 88–105% / 83–99% / 81–99%. Spike-and-recovery averages were 91% for serum (range 86–96%), 98% for EDTA plasma (range 85–104%) and 97% for heparin plasma (range 87–104%). The kit is shipped and stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.

PKR2 is a G protein-coupled receptor implicated in regulation of circadian rhythms, sensory perception and immune response, and its dysregulation has been linked to pain, inflammation and sleep disorders.
