Human Prokineticin-2 (PROK2) ELISA Kit

Manufacturer specifications report a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Recovery averaged 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%). According to the manufacturer, it may function as an output molecule from the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) that transmits behavioural circadian rhythm, may act locally within the SCN to synchronise output, and potently contracts gastrointestinal smooth muscle.
