Human Programmed cell death protein 1 (PDCD1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Programmed cell death protein 1 (PDCD1), also known as PD-1 or CD279, in research applications. PDCD1 is an inhibitory cell surface receptor involved in the regulation of T-cell function during immunity and tolerance, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. The assay detects natural and recombinant human PDCD1 and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.067 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.2%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions. Spike recovery averaged 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma.

The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is intended for research in the cancer area, supporting studies of immune checkpoint pathways, immunotherapy, and immunology. It is supplied for research use only.
