Human Progesterone ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of progesterone in research samples. The colourimetric assay uses antigen-coated wells and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurable range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standards, a biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25× wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual. The workflow involves adding sample or standard together with biotin-labelled antibody to the coated wells, washing, colour development with TMB substrate, stopping the reaction, and reading absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls within approximately 81–105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, while recovery averages 95–96% across these sample matrices. Components are stored at 2–8°C, protected from light where indicated, and should not be cryopreserved. Delivery is quoted at 10–15 business days.
