Human Procollagen III C-Terminal Propeptide (PIIICP) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of Procollagen III C-Terminal Propeptide (PIIICP) supports research into extracellular matrix remodeling and active fibrogenesis. PIIICP is liberated during the enzymatic conversion of type III procollagen to mature collagen fibrils, and circulating concentrations track the rate of new collagen deposition in tissues such as liver, lung, and skin. This Assay Genie immunoassay is configured for human specimen analysis and uses an enzyme-linked immunosorbent format read by absorbance on a microplate. The kit is supplied for research use only and enables in vitro quantification in cleared tissue homogenates as well as human blood-derived specimens.
