Human Probable D-lactate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (LDHD) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Probable D-lactate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (LDHD) in research samples. The assay is reactive with human samples and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids [S1].

LDHD is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of D-lactate within the mitochondria, contributing to cellular energy production and homeostasis, and dysregulation of LDHD has been linked to metabolic disorders, neurological conditions, and mitochondrial dysfunction [S1]. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Probable D-lactate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial, and the target protein localizes to the mitochondrion [S1]. The kit is supplied for research use only [S1].

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.34 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 5.6% and inter-assay CV of 10.6% [S1]. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery has been measured in serum and plasma samples [S1].
