Pro-MCH is a secreted peptide hormone involved in regulating energy balance, metabolism, and stress responses, and its dysregulation has been linked to conditions such as obesity, depression, and sleep disorders. The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.087ng/mL, read as a colorimetric ELISA on a microplate reader set to 450 nm. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 3.7% and an inter-assay CV of 6.0%, while spike-and-recovery averages 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at multiple dilutions. The product is intended for research use only.
