Human Pro-IL-16 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human pro-interleukin-16 (Pro-IL-16) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric detection method and recognises both natural and recombinant human Pro-interleukin-16. The assay offers a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL, supported by an intra-assay CV of 3.9% and an inter-assay CV of 6.8%.

Linearity has been validated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16) of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples, and recovery ranges from 92-104% in serum (average 98%) and 94-106% in plasma (average 100%). The kit is intended for research use only and supports immunology research, where pro-IL-16 functions as a cytokine precursor implicated in immune and inflammatory responses.

Most components should be stored at -20°C, with select reagents stored at 4°C, and the kit is shipped refrigerated at +4°C.
