Human PRKCE/PKC epsilon ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay designed to quantify PKC Epsilon (PRKCE) in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colourimetric kit operates with a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL across a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, supporting research applications in cell biology.

PKC Epsilon is a key enzyme involved in cellular signalling pathways, where it regulates cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of PKC Epsilon has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for disease research. The assay workflow includes plate and reagent preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin conjugation, TMB colour development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and technical manual.

Validated linearity spans 82–100%, 81–100%, and 90–98% for serum at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively; 82–98%, 85–94%, and 85–105% for EDTA plasma; and 85–100%, 87–101%, and 82–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 94–106% for serum (average 95%), 88–102% for EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 90–101% for heparin plasma (average 100%).
