Human Pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein 1 (PSG1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of Pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein 1 (PSG1), a glycoprotein expressed during pregnancy that contributes to maternal-fetal immune tolerance and has been implicated in complications such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. The kit is intended for research use in cell biology applications and employs colorimetric detection.

Validated for use with human samples, the kit is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Sensitivity is 10 ng/mL with a detection range of 15.6-1000 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.8% and inter-assay CV is 5.9%. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human PSG1. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions spans 86-117% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, while recovery averages 109% for serum (range 103-115%) and 111% for plasma (range 105-117%).

Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer. A microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm is required.
