Pref-1 is a trans-membrane protein carrying EGF-like repeats that holds preadipocytes in an undifferentiated state; a soluble fragment is released by proteolytic cleavage and circulates in blood, and this kit is configured to capture that soluble analyte in cell culture supernatant and in human plasma/serum samples.
